I gave Davison a definite "Don't call us, we'll call you" about my invention this morning. Which was only fair. Besides, they're morning people and I'm not. (I think that distinction is important.)

I just "dibbed" my next assignment for the IPMS/USA Reviewer Corps. I wonder how much of it I can get done before I have to pack everything and move. *shrug*


Mum got four bags of chocolates for V'Tine's and we've already gotten through half of it. I know she's fueling her romantic writing but the cocoa crash is just as bad as the sugar high.

I made pizza for dinner tonight. It was the second time using the new silicone cookie sheet (layed on top of a metal one when we're ready to bake). Things I should note for reference: 1) no grease or oil is necessary; 2) ample use of flour under the crust is--the crust will absorb a lot of it; 3) the sheet flexes under the rolling pin quite a lot so be careful that you don't roll the crust too thin; 4) the oven should be completely pre-heated before you put in the pizza. This one was satisfying but I think next time I'll make a double-sized batch of crust dough and try to make a thicker pizza. On this one, the mozzarella cheese layer was double the thickness of the crust!
